The Narrative

The Soul of the Object

Transform your patio or atrium into an Andalusian sanctuary with this magnificent freestanding zellige wall fountain. The "Jardin de Fes" is a stunning example of Moroccan artistry, featuring a central, stylized "Tree of Life" motif bursting from a vase in azure blues, emerald greens, deep reds, and saffron yellows against a crisp white tiled background. The floral centerpiece is framed by an elegant arch and surrounded by complex borders of intertwining vines and classic geometric strapwork. Masterfully handcrafted by skilled artisans in the medina of Fes, this piece utilizes the ancient *zellige* technique. Individual terracotta tiles are fired, glazed with natural pigments, and then painstakingly hand-chiseled into precise geometric shapes called *furmah*. These tiny pieces are assembled face-down in a reverse mosaic process to create the intricate patterns, a skill passed down through generations of *maâlems* (master craftsmen). The fountain is a complete unit, featuring a deep, semi-circular basin lined with blue tiles and capped with a smooth, honed marble rim. A traditional brass spigot is centrally mounted within the floral design. It is constructed to be durable and weather-resistant, ready to provide the soothing sound of flowing water in a garden setting or as a dramatic interior focal point.

"Every imperfection tells a story of human hands at work."
